Monsooned Malabar is known for its subtle and soft flavors with a hint of acidity, making it a great standalone coffee. The coffee beans are roasted slowly to enhance and bring out a fuller set of flavors. From the months of June to September, carefully selected beans are exposed to the monsoon winds for about 12 to 16 weeks. To ensure that the beans are safe and clean they are repeatedly spread out and are raked and turned around at regular intervals.

Just like the name, the ‘Monsooned Malabar’ is the name of the process the beans go through from constant exposure to the monsoon winds on the Malabar coast. The process makes the beans bloat and lose their original acidity, allowing the other flavors to stand out. This coffee brew is heavy-bodied and pungent with notes of spice and a wine-like flavor. It is a coffee that is unique to the Malabar Coast of Karnataka, parts of Kerela, and Tamil Nadu, now freshly available for you to wake up to every morning.
